Rural development Trust ( RDT) was
constituted on 10.01.1992 as a public charitable Trust with
office at No 38, Old Mahabalipuram Road , Thiruporur,
Kanchipuram Dist., Tamilnadu-603110.

The Trust deed named three trustees to
manage the affairs of the trust. The Trust was registered on
10.02.1992 in the office of the Joint Sub Registrar, Adyar, with
registration number 130/ 1992.

The Trust was registered under the Foreign
Contribution Regulation Act with number 075820223. A designated
bank account exists for the foreign contributions.

The Commissioner of Income Tax- Tamilnadu V
also registered the Trust with the Income Tax Department as a
charitable institution with number 270 / 2000-01. The Trust also
obtained Income Tax PAN Number AAATR2884H.

RDT has its registration U/S 12AA of the
income Tax act 1961, which entails exemption of income tax for
the income derived by RDT.

Act, No: DIT(E)No(7036(66) /00-2001 Dated 31/10/2007 .

All donations are eligible for deductions
under 80G of IT act 1961 from 1/4/2007 to 31.03.2010 (A.Y. 2008
– 2009 to 2010-2011) vide DIT(E)No(7036(66) /00-2001 Dated
31/10/2007.
