Educational Tour

A educational tour was organized by RDT to Egattur and Hiranandani School students on 14th October-2011. The students were brought in to Vandalore Zoological Park. The tour was aimed to motivate migrant children in education and develop skills and equip knowledge on various types of domestic and wild animals. In order to organize and monitor our children nearly seven volunteers have come from Vivekananda Vidyalaya School, lions club of Chitlapakkam east and RDT Teachers east were helped the children by giving lot of information about animals which they have seen in the zoological park. For additional information about animals a Zoological forest officer has given detailed information of animals during our visit in Zoological Park. RDT has given free Transportation, free Breakfast, Lunch, Coffee and Snacks and free entrance fees paid in Zoological park for each children. Around 69 migrant children were participated who are studying from 5th std to VIIIth std at Egattur and Hiranandani Schools.

The children safely returned to home and revealed their Experiences and happiness about Tour at end of review meeting.
