In order to improve the pre - school education and health care of the children below 5 years from the migrant community at the construction site. RDT has been running Day Care Centres in 10 villages covering 347 children. All the 347 children have been providing nutritious noon meals, pre - school education teaching aids, play materials, mats, health care and vaccination, uniforms etc. This program was useful to the children to grow better at their early childhood improving physical, psychological, knowledge, social and educational developments. Also this day care centre will provide 100% security for this infants. Because always the construction site is much dangerous and threat full places. So, in this connection of the roll of RDT the children could avoided this kind of social problems.
To reduce the school drop outs, it is necessary to continue the Day Care Centre. Other wise the elder children will stay at home to take care of the children below 5 years while the parents are at work. Hence it is necessary to continue the Day Care Centre services in all the 10 Telugu Migrant hutments covering 347 children. In order to provide health care specially, to mother and other adolescent girls. We will be organizing periodical health camps at the construction sport in near by migrant school.
